  • Are you ready to commit to a busy charter season in the South Pacific?

 

This busy charter yacht currently on the East Coast of Australia is seeking an experienced AMSA Class 2 ticketed (minimum) engineer who will be responsible for the safety in all engine room operations and be able to maintain the yacht’s entire engineering operations.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum Commercial AMSA Class 2 ticket or equivalent recognition from NZ or Fiji
  • Experience with CAT Diesel main engines an advantage
  • Technical/Trouble Shooting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of all systems on board, engines, generators, electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, sanitation, etc.
  • Excellent planning for preventative maintenance
  • Current AMSA Medical fitness certificate
  • AMSA STCW Basic Security Training
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fit, healthy and personally well-presented non-smoker, no visible tattoos

Start Date: ASAP

Salary:  AUD/Australian working conditions, a generous salary package negotiable depending on experience is on offer.  This offer is only available to AMSA qualified candidates in Australia, New Zealand or Fiji.
