Part-time Housekeeper/Mother’s Assistant for family in Prahran, Melbourne – PRAM

A busy mother with a family of five located in the lovely suburb of Prahran is seeking a motivated and experienced housekeeper to help three mornings per week with general assistance such as tidying, light cleaning (they have a weekly cleaner) laundry, beds, light errands such as picking up groceries and/or dry cleaning, etc.

General duties will include:

• Ensuring the home is kept neat and tidy
• A thorough knowledge of all laundry duties including delicates (washing, ironing, folding)
• Managing wardrobes, tidying drawers, colour co-ordinated
• Changing bed linen and towels
• Keeping kitchen clean and tidy/emptying dishwasher
• Local food shopping and other light errands
• Ensuring fridge is stocked

The ideal candidate will:

• Be available minimum 3 mornings per week (Prefer Mon/Wed/Fri)
• Have good communication skills
• Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
• Have good organisational skills
• Be familiar with correct cleaning techniques and laundry care
• COVID Vaccinated
• Hold a Current Police Check and WWCC (or be prepared to complete both)
• Have good references from past employers

Days Preferred Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9am – 1pm (but flexible)

Hourly Rate: $40 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

This is a long term, permanent position.
