Part-time House Manager/Housekeeper/Nanny/Cook in Brisbane - TOIM

A busy family of four located in Bardon, is seeking a permanent part-time housekeeper who is well versed with not just housekeeping but meal planning, preparation and cooking. This is a varied position which will include occasional care of two children aged 2 and 5, home management and support to the busy parents.
They have weekly cleaners, therefore duties will revolve around the housekeeping, laundry, general shopping errands, meal preparation and cooking, dog walking ????, occasional school pick up/drop off and other general admin duties for the family as required.
General duties will include:
- Family laundry, ironing, wardrobe management for the children
- Tidying and organising
- Grocery shopping (on-line mostly) and other errands
- Meal planning/preparation,
- Dog walking
- Booking and coordinating service providers
- School pick up / drop off (one day per week & ad hoc)
- Childcare of the 2 year old (occasionally one day per week).
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a confident cook
- Have good communication skills
- Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
- Have good organisational and administrative skills
- Be familiar with correct cleaning techniques and laundry care
- Have previous long-term experience
- Hold a Current Police Check and WWCC/Blue Card and First Aid Certificate (or be prepared to complete)
- Have good references from past employers
Hours: Flexible daily hours with varied start/end times Monday to Thursday preferred
Hourly rate: $30 - $35 DOE
Start Date: ASAP
This is a long term, permanent position.
