Experienced Steward(ess)/Cook for private 70ft+ M/Y (STCH)

 We have an exciting position for an experienced Steward(ess)/Cook on a new 70ft+ vessel with a 25ft+ tender and an abundance of water toys based mainly in Singapore, with cruising to Southeast Asia & the Pacific. The yacht will be used by the young owner and his family, as well as trips with friends and business partners.

You will be a confident and skilled cook with a varied menu as well as a dedicated stewardess, with a keen eye for detail and proven ability to maintain the interior of this luxury vessel to a superyacht standard. A background in watersports, fishing, diving would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications/Training:  

  • STCW 95 Basic Safety Training
  • Security Awareness certificate
  • Valid Passport, ENG1 Seafarer Medical and Seaman’s Discharge Book
  • Diver Certification (Divemaster/Instructor)

The successful candidate will have the following attributes & experience:

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar position as Steward(ess)/Cook (some of this on yachts <30m)
  • High level of professional guest service
  • Tender driving skills
  • Experience on deck as you will also be assisting with deck duties such as berthing, anchoring etc
  • Experienced fisherman/woman
  • Experienced diver
  • Professional manner and appearance
  • Team player, rigorous and hardworking
