Experienced Deckhand for private 70ft+ M/Y (MARH)

 We have an exciting position for an experienced Deckhand on a new 70ft+ vessel with a 25ft+ tender and an abundance of water toys, based mainly in Singapore, with cruising to Southeast Asia & the Pacific. The yacht will be used by the young owner and his family, as well as trips with friends and business partners.

We are seeking a responsible person who will be confident in their ability with a strong skill set. A background in watersports, fishing, diving would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications/Training:  

  • Yachtmaster Offshore
  • STCW 95 Basic Safety Training
  • Security Awareness certificate
  • Valid Passport, ENG1 Seafarer Medical and Seaman’s Discharge Book
  • Diver Certification (Divemaster/Instructor)

The successful candidate will have the following attributes & experience:

  • At least one years’ experience driving large tenders
  • 1+ years’ experience in superyacht industry (some of this on yachts <30m)
  • Have a solid boating background
  • Confident in boat handling, watching keeping and knowledge of col. Regs.
  • Engineering knowledge a bonus
  • Experienced fisherman/woman
  • Experienced diver
  • Professional manner and appearance
  • Team player, rigorous and hardworking
