Experienced Chef de Partie (x2) required for 100m+ M/Y (CDPL)

 We are looking for 2 qualified Chefs de Parties with former experience on 50m+ Yachts, Passenger/Cruise ships or ashore within a luxury hotel.  Proven longevity is required.

The successful candidate will be rotating 4 : 2 months and working in a high speed functioning Galley Team, with 122 days leave per annum ! 

Desired Qualifications & Attributes:

  • International Passport
  • Seafarer discharge book
  • Seafarer medical ( valid min 6 months)
  • STCW Basic safety training
  • Chef Degree / Ship’s Cook Certificate
  • Level 2 food hygiene
  • Passenger Safety Certificate (Crowd & Crisis Management)
  • Vaccination card with Yellow Fever and Hep B vaccinations up to date
  • Fluent English (spoken & written)
  • Valid Drivers’ Licence

Experience required:

  • Former  experience on a 50m+ yacht or cruise or river ships in a similar role.
  • Exceptional culinary knowledge, style and presentation skills, including a broad knowledge of international cuisine and techniques.
  • Must have a minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or higher
  • Must be comfortable filling a supportive role within the department, working with outside catering, crew and guest galley sub teams
  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to be a team player.
  • Have attention to details.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and courteous at all times.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change arising from the unpredictable nature of the vessel’s program or itinerary.
  • Be prepared to work on board an older purpose-built private yacht, alongside an international crew
  • Male only due to cabin arrangements. 

Salary: DOE 122 days leave per year & 2 return flights per year to your homeport.
