Executive Housekeeper/House Manager (Full-time) for large home in Hamilton, Brisbane - HAMM

A busy professional family of five, with part-time adult children is looking for a full-time EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER with experience in large residences and a great all rounder with an eye for details.  Their large home is well kept and presented and they have cleaners to do the heavy, wet areas so general housekeeping is your daily duty.  Beds, laundry, polishing silverware, keeping kitchen clean after preparing lunches, preparation for dinner but no cooking!

You will be experienced in wardrobe management and valeting, ensuring the ironing and other outsourced duties are booked as required.  Keeping all areas of the home up to standards, ensuring the outdoor areas are maintained by the gardeners, pool cleaner, handyman, etc.  Ensuring the family’s vehicles are clean (taking them to carwash – so license is essential).  This is a very busy and varied role so you will need to be experienced in running a large household to a very high standard.

General duties will include:

• Ensuring the residence is kept organised and tidy at all times
• Changing bed linen and towels
• Cleaning kitchen and appliances
• A good knowledge of laundry duties (ironing outsourced)
• Monitoring all household supplies and restocking as needed

The ideal candidate will:

• Have good communication skills
• Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
• Have good organisational skills
• Be familiar with correct cleaning techniques and laundry care
• Have previous long-term experience
• Hold a Current Police Check
• Have good references from past employers

Hours: 9am – 5pm with a generous salary in line with your experience up to $90,000 p.a.

Start Date: ASAP
