Our clients, very busy couple, require an allrounder staff member to take care of all the details of their lives.  This means that your role is quite varied, and you’ll be involved in elements of House Management, Personal Assistance, Driving, Stewarding (when they entertain), handyman skills preferable (ad hoc odd jobs and organisation of tradesmen when required) and running errands as required.

You will need to be well-organised, experienced and level headed, have good communication skills, be trustworthy, with a positive attitude and a self-starter approach.  It will be necessary that you have a current Police/background check and exemplary references to support your application.
We are looking for a consummate ‘allrounder’ who can turn their hand at almost anything, so your extra skills brought to the role will be put into play.

General duties will include:
Driving the principals from time to time – 25% of the role
Attend to special requests as requested by the principals
High level of food service and beverages during the principals’ dinner parties as required
Ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the residence by providing an organised household.
Note that there is a Housekeeper employed, so your role is to work alongside to add value where you can see the need to ensure that high standards are maintained.
Carry out shopping and errands outside the home as requested
You may even be asked to cook and do food preparation on the occasion
Identify maintenance issues and report to the principals and organise solutions at the same time, Organise tradesmen as required
Oversee the garden and plants within the residence

The ideal candidate will:
Have a current Police Check certificate
Have clean driver’s license – car will be provided
Have their Food Hygiene certificate
Have formal service training and experience
Be well-presented at all times
Work unsupervised, unobtrusively and professionally
Well-organised with focussed attention to detail
Have a pleasant and calm demeanour
Have a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks when required
Be discreet, honest and confident

Hours:  Full time, 38 hours per week including one day each weekend. Please note that flexibility with hours is required as the program may include evening or weekend entertaining from time to time.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on your experience.
Start: As agreed but by February.
