This high profile Superyacht is seeking a qualified ETO to take assist and report to the Chief Electrician and Chief Engineer in all engine room systems and be a pro-active member of the team. The right candidate will have 3 years’ experience in a similar role either on 100m+ Superyachts or Cruise/Passenger ships and possess the following qualifications and experience:

 

Qualifications:

 

  • COC ETO III/6 preferred but not essential if experience is validated
  • 3+ years overall sailing experience in an ETO position
  • Passenger safety certificates including Crowd and Crisis Management
  • Designated Security Duties Certificate
  • High Voltage certificate
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Valid STCW95/2010
  • Valid passport
  • Valid ENG1
  • Valid Seafarer Discharge Book

 

Experience and Skills:           

 

  • High work ethic, consideration for details, keeping neat and tidy workplaces
  • ENEM (Electronic Navigation Equipment Maintenance).
  • GMDSS Maintenance
  • Knowledge of AV/IT Systems, Satellite communications and digital media broadcasts
  • Able to assist in electrical projects
  • Working according to the highest safety and security standards (risk assessments, permits to work, work procedures, lockout-tagout, …)

 

Start date:       Early July 2019

Salary:             €5.400 per month x 12

Leave:             3:3 rotation
