Chief Officer for 100-m+ Superyacht – CODM

This high profile very large Superyacht is seeking a valuable Senior/Chief Officer to work closely with the Captain in this demanding role.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role onboard 80-m+ yachts or Cruise Ships. Consideration will be given to 2nd Officers with proven longevity and 2 years experience.


  • COC Master/Chief Mate Unlimited (II/2) of Ships 3000 GT or more (minimum)
  • Ship Security Officer,
  • GMDSS,
  • ECDIS,
  • AFF,
  • Medical care Certificate
  • Crowd & Crisis Management Certificate



  • 1+ years’ as C/O on 80m+ or cruise ships or 2+ years as 2nd Officer
  • Superior leadership, communication, management and diplomatic skills
  • Excellent boat handling & navigational skills
  • Knowledge of ISM and ISPS practices
  • Excellent maintenance, engineering and technical/ troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to remain calm and give directions in an emergency situation
  • Organized and methodical
  • Financial management
  • Professional appearance - No visible Tattoos


START DATE                   31st July 2019


LEAVE                              10:10 rotation = 178 days leave per year with 3 x economy flights per year
