Chef for 75-ft World Travelling Sailing Catamaran - CAFM

This world class sailing catamaran is seeking a qualified and experienced young chef to join the yacht and her crew on its continued journey around the world.  Currently in South Africa they are preparing for a crossing to the Caribbean so great sea-legs and provisioning skills will be essential!

You will be cooking for a crew of 7 across the Atlantic come January and there will be plenty of owners’ trips and possible charters thereafter.

Candidates should hold the following qualifications and experience:

  • Culinary qualified and/or extensive experience in providing a variety of healthy meals and must be able to adapt to any specific dietary requirements.
  • Knowledge of cooking for a KETO diet advantageous.
  • STCW Basic Safety training,
  • ENG1 Health Certificate
  • Valid Passport
  • B1/B2 visa preferred.

Salary:  US$4,000 DOE | 4 weeks annual leave with generous travel allowance and annual performance bonus
