The thing to keep in mind however is that salaries aren’t set in stone – it varies according to ‘supply and demand’ and whether the role is long-term or temporary, and whether the yacht is private or offered for charter. Additionally you need to take into account the individual calibre of the candidate. Some bring extra skills to the role.
