How does the Recruitment process work?

Would you like us to help find you the right role? You will need to register your profile on our database. Then, when we have roles to fill we search for the attributes that you have described: quals, nationality, age, location, skills, etc. We post these Job Alerts regularly on our website and you may apply directly. If you fulfil the criteria of the role and match the client’s brief, then you will be contacted to provide your CV. We prefer Word format.

NOTE: MLC 2006 compliance means that all crew can register free of charge.
SCI makes no charge to crew to place them.

Your professional CV

You will need to send us your most up-to-date CV. Remember that having professional-looking photograph is very important, as is having at least 3 current Referees with contact details. Please have your CV in Word format plus your written references. Note that we offer valuable assistance for enhancing your presentation “on paper” – we call it “CV Surgery”. Invest yourself: Download the CV SURGERY application form.
